change your behaviour, not your study routine

It’s 3:00 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon, and once again, for probably the hundredth time this semester, you get the divine inspiration to switch up your study routine. So, you do what every sane student does - run to YouTube university . You start searching, watching, hoping that somewhere out there, there's the perfect routine that will finally fix your life. But there isn’t. Because the problem was never the routine. It was you. Yes. You . And before you get defensive, relax... because I genuinely want the best for you. This post is basically the readable version of my video, so if you’d rather watch me say all this while aggressively pointing at the camera and holding your hand through the chaos, here’s the video version below: Let’s Actually Talk About You I know you don’t want to hear this kind of conversation because nobody likes being confronted with themselves, but we’re going there today. Every little thing you’ve been avoiding about yourself, every habit you’ve been pretend...

Today is Easter 🌸

Today is Easter 🌸   And if there’s one thing I’m really grateful for this period, it’s that Christ chose to give up His life for me, above all I could ever do, above all of my good works, above even my  bestest  intentions. They could never have amounted to the weight of Christ laying His life down for me. I see it as one of the most important things in life, how Jesus Christ just chose to die for His own creation, and how He has turned us into beings that can have eternal life and have a form of fellowship with God. I just find it so amazing that that can even be a reality, that a God who created us would still choose to die for us, just so that we can have fellowship with Him. Like  whattt??  It’s so amazing, and I will never trade my salvation for anything in this world. It’s not like it’s a possession that I can just lose or gain as I please, because obviously, salvation could never have been earned by any of my works. No matter how “good” you think you are...

how to create a killer study routine (to get straight As always)

This killer study routine could completely change your life! It can give you the push you need to go from getting average scores to having Straight As in all of your courses with very little work, just like your favorite study mentors. Over the past two years, I’ve tried out different study techniques and methods, watching hundreds of study videos just like you and me. I finally learned what works and what doesn’t. In this post, I’m going to share exactly how to create your own killer study routine that will completely transform your grades, and it all comes down to 4 simple steps. Sorry to cut your reading streak but, I have a youtube video where I spoke very extensively on this topic, I think you'd find that more interactive, especially if you're a visual learner ( more on that later  in this post ), you can click down below and you'd be taken right there: And if you're still with me here, let's go! Step 1: Review the Next Topic Beforehand The first step is b...

you’re acting small to make them comfortable…STOP!

WE NEED TO TALK—yeah, we need to talk! We need to have that discussion about why you are ruining your life for free, why you’re not making your life seem like an important thing to you. I want to ask you something: don’t you have something better to do with your time? Don’t you think you could actually pour the time you’re using to serve others—the time you’re using to please others—into something that would give you returns in your own life? Why do you feel the need to avoid offending people the way you do? This is me literally talking to my own self, my own younger self. This is me giving advice—even an ad, to be honest. I’m not a therapist, but I have a lot of things I can say that can actually help you and save you from wasting years of your life. You don’t want to be that person, all in the name of wanting to be kind. If you'd love a more DETAILED form of this topic, I have a full 20 minute+ video on it over on YouTube, so you can click below to take you there: The Hard Trut...
